Who we are
PropReady is operated by Marcus Stacey, trading as PropReady, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
You can reach us at mstrades.ltd@gmail.com for any question about your data, including any of the rights set out below.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address and a sign-in identifier, used to sign you in and to keep your data separate from every other user.
- Content you enter — journal entries, backtests, notes, and any screenshots you upload.
- Technical data — server logs and error reports needed to run the service and to investigate faults.
We do not ask for, and you should not enter, any real trading account numbers, broker credentials or payment details. Nothing here connects to a real broker.
Why we use it
- To provide the service you asked for — performance of a contract. Without an email address we cannot sign you in or keep your journal yours.
- To keep it working and secure — our legitimate interests in preventing abuse, diagnosing faults and protecting the service.
- To meet legal obligations where any apply.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of providers to run the service. They process data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own:
- Clerk — sign-in and account security (United States).
- Neon — the database holding your accounts and trades (London, United Kingdom).
- Vercel — hosting, and storage for screenshots you upload (United States, served from a global network).
Where a provider is outside the UK, the transfer is covered by that provider's standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share your journal, trades or results with any prop firm or advertiser.
Affiliate links
Some links to prop firms carry a referral code, and we may earn a commission if you open an account through one. Following such a link takes you to that firm's own website, where their privacy policy applies, not ours. We do not pass any of your personal data or trading results to them — the firm only knows that a visitor arrived through our code. See our affiliate disclosure.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we will delete your content, other than anything we must keep by law. Server logs are kept only as long as needed to run and secure the service.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, correction of it, deletion of it, restriction of how we use it, or a portable copy. You can also object to processing carried out under our legitimate interests.
Email mstrades.ltd@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. These are set by our sign-in provider and are strictly necessary, so they do not require consent. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics that profile you.
Children
PropReady is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be signposted in the app.
